"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Matthew 28:19-20
Education was never meant to be merely the transfer of information or the preparation of children for jobs. At its heart, education is about formation—shaping lives toward wisdom, character, purpose, and truth.
School Alive Ministry exists to serve families, educators, and communities by restoring a Christian vision of education that forms the whole person: body, soul, and spirit. In a time when education has become fragmented, utilitarian, and disconnected from moral foundations, this ministry calls people back to what is good, true, and enduring.
We believe education shapes not only minds, but hearts—and ultimately the future of families, communities, and society.

School Alive Ministry is a faith-based outreach program of School Alive dedicated to Christian formation, educational renewal, and service to families and educators. Through teaching, resources, publications, and community engagement, we equip parents and educators to reclaim their God-given role in formation, cultivate virtue, and pursue truth with clarity and courage.

We believe education should be ALIVE—rooted in truth, oriented toward purpose, and ordered toward what lasts. School Alive Ministry advances a vision of education shaped by five enduring commitments:
A — Authentic
Education must be grounded in reality—truthful about the world, honest about human nature, and anchored in what is good, true, and beautiful. Authentic education forms integrity, coherence, and clarity rather than confusion or contradiction.
L — Lifelong
Formation does not end with childhood or graduation. Education is a lifelong pursuit that shapes how we think, live, work, worship, and serve. School Alive Ministry exists to support learning and formation across every stage of life.
I — Innovative
True innovation does not discard wisdom; it applies it faithfully in changing times. We pursue thoughtful, principled innovation that serves people rather than systems, embraces creativity without abandoning truth, and equips families and educators to respond wisely to modern challenges.
V — Virtuous
Education must shape character as well as intellect. Knowledge without virtue is dangerous. School Alive Ministry affirms that wisdom, responsibility, courage, humility, and self-governance are essential outcomes of meaningful education.
E — Eternal
Education inevitably points somewhere. We believe it should orient hearts and minds toward what endures beyond the moment—toward purpose, meaning, and eternity. When education forgets eternity, it loses its soul.
Together, these commitments form an ALIVE vision of education—one that restores formation, honors responsibility, and prepares people not just to succeed, but to live well.

Parents are the first and most influential educators in a child’s life. School Alive Ministry supports families by helping parents understand their responsibility and opportunity to form children in wisdom, character, and faith. Our work encourages families to approach education not as a system to outsource, but as a calling to steward.

School Alive Ministry exists to articulate a compelling alternative to modern education models that reduce learning to testing, credentials, or workforce preparation. Through writing, speaking, and public engagement, we advance a holistic vision of education rooted in Christ. This work serves communities seeking clarity in a confused cultural moment.
As part of our outreach, School Alive Ministry produces books and educational resources designed to extend formation beyond events and conversations. These resources serve families and educators seeking thoughtful, faith-aligned materials that support holistic learning and character development. Any proceeds from publications directly support the nonprofit mission of School Alive.

Our social media outreach exists to:
Social media is not a replacement for community or formation, but it is a powerful entry point—inviting people to think deeply, ask better questions, and rediscover the purpose of education.

Leadership begins with character long before it involves position. In a cultural moment marked by confusion and pressure to conform, many educators and leaders feel tension between their convictions and prevailing educational trends.
School Alive Ministry exists to support men and women who recognize leadership as a responsibility, not a title. We encourage educators, mentors, and leaders to pursue integrity, wisdom, courage, and self-governance—understanding that their influence shapes lives, families, and communities far beyond any single role or setting.
True leadership is not merely instructional; it is formational. It calls people to model truth, steward influence faithfully, and lead others toward what is good, enduring, and worthy of trust.

School Alive Ministry believes leadership is formed through service to others. As part of our outreach, we support and participate in community service initiatives that meet real needs and cultivate responsibility, compassion, and civic virtue.
These efforts are open to the broader community and may include partnerships with local organizations, service projects, and acts of care such as food distribution, neighborhood support, and assistance to those in need.
Participants from a variety of backgrounds—including families, volunteers, and students—may serve alongside adults as servant-leaders, learning to lead through example, humility, and action. These opportunities are not classroom activities, but expressions of faith lived out through service to others.

School Alive Ministry hosts and supports talks, workshops, and gatherings that explore education, faith, culture, and formation. These opportunities create space for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and renewed vision among parents, educators, and community leaders.
